How does the Portacool mobile cooling work?

A Portacool air cooler acts as a stand-alone cooling in which heat is extracted from the air by water evaporation. The patented Küül pads are one of the most important components in the Portacool adiabatic units. These pads are made of compressed paper. By means of a water pump, water is pumped up from the water tank. The water is fed through the channels in the pads, so they are kept wet everywhere. Then warm air is sucked in through the pads. As a result, the water evaporates and the air is cooled. This air is blown out in a powerful way. The Küül pads ensure that the warm air is cooled by an extra 20%. An additional advantage is that due to the ingenious structure and placement method of the Küül pads, pollutants are filtered out of the flowing air. It also provides cleaner air.
