Be-Cool’s mobile air coolers are from the Portacool brand. These use a unique evaporative cooling system. This system has the great advantage that it can cool large open spaces in an economic and ecological way. Previously, this was far too expensive or impossible. But with Be-Cool’s energy-efficient coolers, cooling large spaces becomes a lot cheaper at once. But what exactly is evaporative cooling? Dip your finger in a glass of water and then blow along the finger. You will then feel the coolness that occurs from the evaporation. That’s adiabatic cooling. The operation of the Portacool mobile coolers<\/h3>\n

Portacool’s mobile cooler is a stand-alone air cooler where heat is extracted from the air by water evaporation. Our patented pads (also called K\u00fc\u00fcl pads) are one of the most important components in our Portacool units. These are specially made by Portacool from compressed paper. The water is pumped up from the water tank by means of a water pump. In the pads there are small channels through which the pads are kept evenly wet with water. The warm air is sucked directly through the pads with the help of a fan. As a result, the water evaporates and the air is cooled. The cool air is then powerfully blown out. The special K\u00fc\u00fcl pads ensure that the warm air is cooled by an extra 20%. Due to the ingenious structure and placement method of the K\u00fc\u00fcl pads, pollutants are filtered out of the flowing air, making the blown air not only much colder, but also much cleaner.<\/p>\n
